Manual of Romance Word Classes
Word classes are linguistic categories serving as basis in the description of the vocabulary and grammar of natural languages. While important publications are regularly devoted to their definition, identification, and classification, in the field of Romance linguistics we lack a comprehensive, state-of-the-art overview of the current research. This Manual offers an updated and detailed discussion of all relevant aspects related to word classes in the Romance languages. In the first part, word classes are discussed from both a theoretical and historical point of view. The second part of the volume takes as its point of departure single word classes, described transversally in all the main Romance languages, while the third observes the relevant word classes from the point of view of specific Romance(-based) varieties. The fourth part explores Romance word classes at the interface of grammar and other fields of research. The Manual is intended as a reference work for all scholars and students interested in the description of both the standard, major Romance languages and the smaller, lesser described Romance(-based) varieties.

The Radical Right During Crisis
While the COVID-19 pandemic overshadowed all else and would quickly have a lasting impact on our daily lives, other events related to the radical right in 2020 soon surfaced. From terrorist attacks in Germany and India to anti-mask protests across the U.S. and Europe, radical right violence escalated in the midst of circulating conspiracy theories and disinformation. The yearbook draws upon insightful analyses from an international network of scholars, policymakers, and practitioners who explore the dynamics and impact of the radical right. Proceedings of the 9th Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics CLiC-it 2023
The ninth edition of the Italian Conference on Computational Linguistics (CLiC-it 2023) was held from 30th November to 2nd December 2023 at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, in the beautiful venue of the Auditorium Santa Margherita - Emanuele Severino. After the edition of 2020, which was organized in fully virtual mode due to the health emergency related to Covid-19, and CLiC-it 2021, which was held in hybrid mode, with CLiC-it 2023 we are back to a fully in-presence conference. Overall, almost 210 participants registered to the conference, confirming that the community is eager to meet in person and to enjoy both the scientific and social events together with the colleagues.

Cosa ci può dire lo studio della parola sulle rappresentazioni mentali e civili di diversità e inclusione? Come si possono analizzare le parole per farle parlare al di là di quello che dicono esplicitamente? Semantic Relations and the Lexicon
Semantic Relations and the Lexicon explores the many paradigmatic semantic relations between words, such as synonymy, antonymy and hyponymy, and their relevance to the mental organization of our vocabularies. Drawing on a century's research in linguistics, psychology, philosophy, anthropology and computer science, M. Lynne Murphy proposes a pragmatic approach to these relations.
