This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Artificial Evolution, EA 2005, held in Lille, France, in October 2005. The 26 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 78 submissions. The Duplicate
As in most suspense thrillers, the clash between good and evil is prominent. In The Duplicate, you will not only find good fighting evil, but find evil clashing with evil, with great wealth as the cause. Greed is prominent and for this setting I have created massive wealth held by a young husband and wife. Their love for each other is great having learned the hard way in previous marriages. The woman gives birth to a son at the same time a servant on the estate also gives birth to a son. They look alike since they come from the loins of the same father. They look alike but the personalities are quite different, thus the first of the good and evil becomes evident. These two boys grow to manhood and both meet a psychopathic antagonist who is the key to the balance of the story. A plan to switch the half brothers and bring one into prominence and control over all the wealth is set in motion. The plot to mislead is a good one and involves deception, plastic surgery, and murder. Of course there is a love story as as a sub plot and because of that love, good has a chance against evil. As usual, I have placed ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances.==
The Evolution of Humanitarian-Intervention in International Law
This book assesses whether humanitarian-intervention exists under customary international law. The main question being whether there is a right to humanitarian-intervention, and if so, according to what criteria, using historical analysis to determine its existence. By combining historical and legal methods running from the nineteenth century Ottoman Empire through to the contemporary Russia-Ukraine War, this book determines that such a right has been extinguished under international law.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 10th European Conference on Genetic Programming, EuroGP 2007, held in Valencia, Spain in April 2007 colocated with EvoCOP 2007. The 21 revised plenary papers and 14 revised poster papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 71 submissions. The papers address fundamental and theoretical issues, along with a wide variety of papers dealing with different application areas.

Genetic Programming
Genetic programming (GP) is a branch of Evolutionary Computing that aims the automatic discovery of programs to solve a given problem. Since its appearance, in the earliest nineties, GP has become one of the most promising paradigms for solving problems in the artificial intelligence field, producing a number of human-competitive results and even patentable new inventions. And, as other areas in Computer Science, GP continues evolving quickly, with new ideas, techniques and applications being constantly proposed.
