J. Frederich Slyh (d. 1800) and his wife, Christiana, were possibly married in 1764 in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Between 1782 and 1800 they lived in Berkeley and Jefferson counties, Virginia (now West Virginia). "The early family is primarily found in records located at: Northampton & Lehigh counties, PA; Berkeley & Jefferson counties, WV; Franklin, Madison & Pickaway counties, OH."
