This collection of essays had its origins in a one-day workshop held in August 2015 at The Australian National University. There's A Monster in My Tummy! A story about a small child's tummy monster who makes feelings seem scary and who comes out, often explosively, through behaviour. The story describes what it's like for a child when they experience big emotions and when the Tummy Monster takes over. It also introduces strategies to help children identify and manage emotions - so the aren't so scary.
