This is a reprint of David Trimble's most popular book, American Origins. Brought back by popular demand. Because David sold all copies of this book years ago, I was unable to obtain one in "like new" condition. This book was created by scanning the pages of someone's used copy. It will contain a few markings and notes but still serves as an excellent Genealogy reference.
Previously published by Magna Carta, Baltimore. Published as a set by Genealogical Publishing with the two vols. of the Genealogies in the Library of Congress, and the two vols. of the Supplement. Set ISBN is 0806316691.
This edition of Gateway to the West has been excerpted from the original numbers, consolidated, and reprinted in two volumes, with added Publisher's Note, Tables of Contents, and indexes, by Genealogical Publishing Co., SInc., Baltimore, MD.
This volume of genealogy is one of several written as an expansion of American Origins, published in 1974 by David B. Trimble. Moser of North Carolina, published in 1996, includes genealogical information about the Beck, Boehm, Boone, Freiley, Harding, Morgan, Moser, Pennington, Stahler, and Wartman families. This book is not an original copy, but it does contain the exact same information. It was created when David Trimble allowed Snug Harbor Productions to scan his manuscript for re-distribution purposes. There may be a few flaws such as missing, blurred, or upside down pages. We have been selling digital versions of this book for many years. As of September 2009, no such flaws have been reported.
Reprint of the original, first published in 1875.
Alexander, James, Moses, David and John Trimble, brothers, immigrated from Ireland to the Delaware-Pennsylvania area, moving to Augusta County, Virginia about 1740/1744. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Texas and elsewhere.
