13 Verses And My Song Of Sorrow

The book is not only a compilation of verses, but is a compilation of emotions that linger into the depths of what is within me. The verses found in the book are not only cherry blossom verses or lines in the dark or even songs of sorrow, but rather legitimate feelings that anyone is not ready to see or feel. Once the reader takes the risk of peering through these verses, he will not only sink into the depths of my persona, but will drown in the raw emotions that have been raging in me ever since. These verses are not only for the meek but for the bewildered, for the mad, and the insane.

Just Like Clay

“The first thing that comes to mind upon seeing this book,is the title - just like clay. It was never intended to title the book so, but fate seemed so bent on having it’s way. Clay, is a natural creative entity or component. It’s ability to be transformed into almost anything and it’s elasticity, is simply pure magic. Poetry, likewise is the beauty of creativity and arts. Poetry can be used as a tool for emotional, mental, psychological and socio- educative advancement. A poet as such has the ability to mould his words into the perfect poem hence the seeming resemblance to clay. The beautiful thing about this project, is the fact that the author assembled a beautiful team of natural and distinctive bards, who spared no magic in the creation of this masterpiece. And so really, in all it’s essence and relevance, poetry is indeed JUST LIKE CLAY.”

Contemporary India as Captured by Bollywood

The manuscript starts with a question how does a country with so much diversities like India claim to be a nation? What glues it together? It then suggests that Bollywood has in the last hundred years acted as one of the glues that binds the country together and that it has represented the feelings and aspiration of the country commendably. It has also become the inner voice that introspects and questions the society and behaves as a collective moral compass. To further this theory, the seventy odd years of post- independence is divided into four periods. Films released in each period is shown, not just to reflect the period but to comment on the need for change. For example the highlighting...

This book is about poverty and why these two (2) kinds of people are not alike. One of them has more resources, while the other has a limited supply or shortages. I will state why these people most likely have a positive mindset unlike the opposite one; some are struggling financially and others have more freedom. This literature is based on my experiences and observation of their attitude and behavior every time I encounter each one of them. Some people believe that being rich require fancy cars, mansions, popularity, airplane, and a lot of money. Thus, being rich only demands a good mindset. If your perception is set only for material things, there are times you will lose it. However, when you have a mindset, same as those rich individual; you're not afraid to lose everything. Since, you knew that you can have it back. Being rich is having a heart, mind and soul. It's based on emotion, contribution, and leadership. Even if you have all the money in the world, yet lack proper thinking; you will never call yourself rich. As rich people didn't teach their children the value of money, rather create it with their hands.
