...Dando ainda mais um passo, acrescentaremos ainda que este esforço resulta do facto de a prática se não compadece com o relativismo puro, em que cada um afirma uma total indiferença por qualquer sistema de referentes, com uma abertura tão inconformada que acaba por outro – bloquear-se num obstinado quietismo, prenunciador de «morte». A prática desmenti-nos, e uma de duas: ou tornamo-nos cépticos ou desesperados, atitudes que correspondem ao estádio terminal de qualquer dogmatismo, ou então transformávamo-nos e passávamos a vida a dizer para nós mesmo: se os factos desmentem as teorias... tanto pior para os factos. Infelizmente para nós e com estes contributos, decidimos aceitar e assumir a ideia de que não nos pudemos satisfazer com qualquer destas duas atitudes radicais (a do relativismo contumaz ou do dogmatismo impenitente) por ser a prática um horizonte comunicativo, de modo que cada um terá de abrir a sua subjectividade ao diálogo com os outros in verbis ou in scripta...
