Desmond Carney is one of the leading researchers in the field, and his book brings together a group of world-renowned authorities to provide a much needed update. Lung Cancer focuses on the recent developments in cancer research on a global scale, including chemoprevention, the use of biological properties in early detection procedures, and the evaluation of lung cancer biology and molecular genetics in predicting treatment outcomes. Well-illustrated with photographs and line illustrations, this book will be valuable reading for clinical oncologists, radiation therapists, and respiratory physicians.
