Pemanfaatan media digital menjadi sebuah keharusan kalau tidak mau tertinggal. Begitu juga yang terjadi dengan proses jual beli. Melalui buku ini pembaca akan mengetahui proses komunikasi yang terjadi dan yang dilakukan oleh para penulis pada saat pandemi covid-19 terjadi.

An introduction to the linguistic study of meaning, this book outlines the meaning potential (semantics) of English and how language knowledge is put to use (pragmatics). As well as gaining a systematic overview of meaning in English, readers can learn how to argue for analyses. Among the significant concepts introduced are denotation, sense relations, event types, explicature, implicature, presupposition, metaphor, reference, speech acts and (at an elementary level) Generalised Quantifier Theory. Sense relations--such as antonymy and hyponymy--are presented as summarising patterns of entailment. The sense of a word is seen as the contributions it makes to the entailments carried by sentences.

While scholars have often found value in comparing Wisdom and Romans, a comparison of the use of personification in these works has not yet been made, despite the striking parallels between them. Furthermore, while scholars have studied many of these personifications in detail, no one has investigated an individual personification with respect to the general use of the trope in the work. Instead, most of this research focuses on a personification in relation to its nature as either a rhetorical device or a supernatural power. The “Powers” of Personification seeks to push beyond this debate by evaluating the evidence in a different light – that of its purpose within the overall use of personification in the respective work and in comparison with another piece of contemporaneous theological literature. This book proposes that the authors of Wisdom and Romans employ personification to distance God from the origin of evil, to deflect attention away from the problem of righteous suffering to the positive sides of the experience, or to defer the solution for the suffering of the righteous to the future.

Kearifan lokal pada intinya kegiatan yang melindungi dan melestarikan alam dan lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengkaji dan melestarikan kearifan lokal yang berkembang di masyarakat yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran IPA. Buku ini disusun sebagai upaya menambah wawasan ilmu pengetahuan bidang Pendidikan IPA yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh mahasiswa, guru, praktisi, dan juga dosen dalam melaksanakan caturdharma. Buku ini membahas 52 (lima puluh dua) judul tulisan terkait budaya ataupun kearifan lokal pada pembelajaran IPA dan disertai dengan contoh asesmen kognitif.
