Este libro es el resultado de la compilación y análisis de algunas de las reflexiones que surgieron en el desarrollo del curso y que fueron materia de resignificación de la práctica pedagógica, por parte de los educadores y formadores y en los que se plantea la reflexión del quehacer del maestro, desde por lo menos dos horizontes: el de ser formador de maestros y el de ser maestro.
Reencantando la educación en Colombia
Este libro es producto del proyecto de investigación titulado Sistematización de experiencias del curso de evaluación con carácter diagnóstico-formativa, llevado a cabo por el grupo de investigación Umbral, de la Escuela de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia -UNAD, durante los años 2017 y 2018. Dicha investigación da cuenta de un proceso de formación de docentes en servicio, que surge en el marco de una convocatoria que el Ministerio de Educación Nacional (MEN) realizó en el año 2016, la cual estaba dirigida a las universidades colombianas con facultades de educación reconocidas en el país. La convocatoria requería el diseño y desarrollo de un Curso de Evaluación con Carácter Diagnóstico Formativa (ECDF) con fines de promoción en el escalafón para los educadores que no superaron la prueba de ascenso convocada en el año 2015 por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional.
Formación en Lenguaje de Señas Colombiana (LSC)
El presente libro surge del proyecto de investigación PG-2015-011 y del convenio suscrito entre la Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia (UNAD) y la Federación Nacional de Sordos de Colombia (FENASCOL). En su primera fase, este proyecto plantea una sistematización de las experiencias de FENASCOL en torno a las necesidades de formación en lengua de señas colombiana como lengua meta. La identificación de las necesidades en la formación en esta lengua es pertinente y relevante para la construcción de propuestas académicas, que permitan fortalecer el campo de formación en esta área a nivel nacional.
Learning and Teaching Languages Through Content
Based on a synthesis of classroom SLA research that has helped to shape evolving perspectives of content-based instruction since the introduction of immersion programs in Montreal more than 40 years ago, this book presents an updated perspective on integrating language and content in ways that engage second language learners with language across the curriculum. A range of instructional practices observed in immersion and content-based classrooms is highlighted to set the stage for justifying a counterbalanced approach that integrates both content-based and form-focused instructional options as complementary ways of intervening to develop a learner’s interlanguage system. A counterbalanced approach is outlined as an array of opportunities for learners to process language through content by means of comprehension, awareness, and production mechanisms, and to negotiate language through content by means of interactional strategies involving teacher scaffolding and feedback.
