The term "polarization" describes the widening gaps in national economies, sociocultural views, and political beliefs. Ideological differences in politics can be a sign of it, resulting in impasse and a decline in confidence in democratic institutions. In terms of the economy, globalization exacerbates disparities between rich and poor regions, while polarization exacerbates wealth gaps and opportunity disparities. Social polarization breeds mistrust and intolerance, leading to identity-based disputes and further splintering society. Although globalization encourages integration and connectivity, it has also heightened polarizing tendencies. It exacerbates international instability, fuels trade disputes, and expands the wealth gap between the rich and the poor. Traditions and values are eroding as a result of cultural globalization. In this respect, globalization must be used to promote inclusivity, tolerance, and cross-national cooperation in order to combat polarization.
