MY MALICELESS MEMOIRS
My Maliceless Memoirs is a collection and compilation of my scattered reflections on personal life and experiences.It covers the events and incidents of my life till 1972 the year in which I discarded the life of a postulant. This book contains my personal thoughts and views on vocation, pastoral life, seminary formation, sacramental life, socio-religious indoctrination, academic orientation and so on . The book highlights the Malabar migration scenario in the fifties and sixties. It depicts the miseries and financial problems faced by the migrant population and the saga of their struggle for survival. Thus the book is the record of my intimate experiences and exposures. They are expressed with credibility and sincerity without any exaggeration and covers my views rather than news of my personal life. The second part of the book will come out in near future under the title “The Saga of My Sojourn”. It will be the comprehensive exposition of my life and activities from 1973. If will obviously cover my family life, professional life, socio-religious life and so on for about four decades.
LOVE YOUR CHILDREN
Love Your Children is a book co-authored with my wife Professor Dr. Rajkumari George on parenting. It is the product of our insights and fascinating experience about child and child care, and incorporates our views and thoughts as parents about children. The children are the most precious human asset, and the future of humanity depends on the 26 percent vibrant child population. They belong to the most vulnerable sections of the society and warrant special care and attention of the global community. This book honestly encapsulates the authors’ reflections and convictions on responsible parenting. Holistic parenting is a challenging human project and encompasses the family and the community besides sensitization of the perennial issues related to child rights, child abuses, and child deviances. The book also contains many valuable suggestions and tips to parents and aspiring parents. It does not however provide any tailor-made criteria for raising children. There is only one golden rule of child-raising and child care. ‘Parents, LOVE YOUR CHILDREN. They will perform miracles if you love them’.
THE SAGA OF MY SOJOURN
Dr. George Vareekal retired as senior Professor and Head of the Department of English, Seva Sadan College, Burhanpur M.P. India. He completed his graduation and post graduation from the University of Saugar, and Ph.D from Barkatullah University Bhopal. He had been a philosophy postulant at St. Thomas Apostolic Seminary Kottayam, Kerala. He is a gold medallist in Law and has worked as a part-time lecturer in the Law College. He was a member of the board of studies of DAVV Indore, and Observer for Rajiv Gandhi Technical University examinations. He has published a few articles on various topics and two books earlier. Literature, Law and Philosophy are his areas of interest and teaching undoubtedly his primary passion.

Aspects of Romantic Love: Perceptions on Love and Marriage is a modest attempt to express my perceptions of romantic love and related themes. To love and to be loved are exciting aspects of a person's emotional life. The pivotal theme of the book is love, romance, marriage and those alliances which hamper a harmonious conjugal and family life. Romantic love is a fascinating passion and an ecstatic experience. The very word ‘romance’ captures our imagination and fills our hearts with exciting feelings. The book is not a scientific treatise on love. It only encapsulates romantic love with all its appealing themes. My effort is to describe the splendid experience called love exclusively through my impressions. The book is a product of the year 2020 marred by the Covid-19 pandemic and the terrible human exodus during the lockdown of 2020. The unexpected global and national scenario gave ample time and opportunity for reading, writing and reflection. Writing on a subject like romantic love helped overcome the lethargy and the feeling of devastation during the lockdown. It has been an exciting creative activity and a marvellous sensation of diversion.

PHILOSOPHICAL INTERPRETATIONS IN LITERATURE
The main purpose of this book is to analyse the philosophical ideas employed by Jean-Paul Sartre in his philosophical fiction titled Nausea (1938). Sartre tries to convey some of his philosophical concerns through this novel. Although the philosophical ideas are conveyed in the novel these are not as vivid as could be in a philosophical texts (The Transcendence of the Ego 1936, Being and Nothingness 1943). The significance of this work, however, lies not on understanding the philosophical concerns in isolation, but in employing the same in the form of a literary work and certain literary technique in pseudonymous plays or names. Sartre engages with pseudonymous play of protagonist and many other characters in his semi-autobiographical novel Nausea as he also says by himself in his later publication of autobiographical work The Words (1946) and first undated sheets of the novel Nausea where he laments his constant confrontation with difficult situations of lived experience.

I dressed in black. I wore my red lipstick, neatly styled my hair to a bun, and walked to my college. I reached early as I took care of all the arrangements.
