Pp. 113-146, appendices to the introduction, contain excerpts from documents. Pp. 147-291 contain the gazetteer, arranged according to the 90 existing French departments, and within the departments alphabetically. The entries (villages, towns, cities, camps, sites where Jews were hidden) give information on how many Jews were at the site and what happened to them, as well as the archival source for the information.
