Hadi Practical Neonatal Dermatology is intended for Midwives, Maternity Nurses, General Practitioners, Neonatal Nurses as well as Neonatal and Paediatric Doctors looking after newborns and infants. It covers most of what health care providers need to know about the skin conditions presenting during the neonatal period. The book covers birthmarks, infective and non- infective skin lesions as well as other rare presentations. The text provides the health care providers with adequate information to recognise as well as describe the skin lesions. It explains subsequent lines of management including discussion with parents and indications, and pathways for referrals. The book does not replace Dermatology textbooks but is adequate for safe and efficient practice during the busy neonatal day. The author welcomes corrections and suggestions at hadihuda@yahoo.com.
