New Challenges and Opportunities in Physics Education
This book is invaluable for teachers and students in high school and junior college who struggle to understand the principles of modern physics and incorporate scientific methods in their lessons. It provides interactive and multidisciplinary approaches that will help prepare present and future generations to face the technological and social challenges they will face. Rather than using a unidirectional didactic approach, the authors - scientists, philosophers, communication experts, science historians and science education innovators - divide the book into two parts; the first part, “Communicating Contemporary Physics”, examines how new physics developments affect modern culture, while the second part, “Digital Challenges for Physics Learning”, covers physics education research using ICT, plus the experiences of classroom teachers and a range of ideas and projects to innovate physics and STEM teaching.

1st Warmadewa International Conference on Science, Technology and Humanity will be an annual event hosted by Warmadewa Research Institution, Universitas Warmadewa. In the direction of a new life order during pandemic COVID-19, Science, technology and humanity especially in ecotourism is a crucial topic to address, this is a momentum to bring together various critical views and thoughts from various fields of science related to strategies that can be done in developing and solving ecotourism resilience during pandemic COVID-19 in Science, technology and humanity study.The conference invites delegates from across Indonesian and is usually attended by more than 100 participants from university academics, researchers, practitioners, and professionals across a wide range of industries.
KAJIAN ETNOSAINS BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL
Kajian Etnosains Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Pada Pembuatan Tahu Besuki Di Desa Jetis Sebagai Sumber Belajar IPA Di SMPN 3 Besuki. Kata Kunci : Kajian Enosains, Kearifan Lokal, Pembuatan Tahu Besuki, Sumber Belajar IPA. Budaya dan kearifan lokal yang ada di lingkungan masyarakat perlu ditanamkan ke dalam pembelajaran di sekolah melalui aktivitas penggalian dan pengakajian lingkungan, agar keberlangsungannya tetap terjaga. Pengintegrasiannya kedalam pembelajaran IPA dirasa sesuai karena IPA memiliki keterkaitan dengan objek kajian yang luas. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan di SMPN 3 Besuki, pembelajaran IPA di sekolah kurang memperhatikan budaya dan kearifan lokal yang berkembang di masyarakat, pada umumnya guru di sekolah membelajarkan IPA melalui pembelajaran konvensional, beralur, masuk dan bagian sesuai dengan tema materi pembelajaran.

As part of the Switzerland State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) project, a technical assistance mission visited Jakarta, Indonesia, during January 8–12, 2018, to develop the capacity to compile integrated sectoral accounts and balance sheets data. The mission reviewed the results of the work undertaken to implement the recommendations of the September 2017 mission.
Proceedings of the Fifth Sriwijaya University Learning and Education International Conference (SULE-IC 2022)
This is an open access book. The 5th Sriwijaya University Learning and Education International Conference (5th SULE-IC 2022) was held on October 5, 2022 in Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia. Palembang is a historic city located on the island of Sumatera. It was the capital of the Empire of Sriwijaya. During the glory of the Empire, it was one of the major learning centers in Asia. To continue the legacy of the Empire’s spirit of learning, the conference will, once more, be the gathering for academicians and professionals from education and related fields all over the world, to share ideas and innovations. The main goal of the 2022 SULE-IC is to provide and opportunity for academicians and professional from various education related field from all over the world to come together and learn from each other. Furthermore, the additional goal is to provide a place for academicians and professionals with disciplinary interests related to education to meet and interact with members inside and outside their own particular disciplines.
ICASI 2018
We are delighted to introduce the proceedings of the first edition of Joint Workshop KO2PI and International Conference on Advance & Scientific Innovation 2018 (ICASI 2018). This conference has brought researchers, developers and practitioners around the world who are leveraging and developing scientific technology. The theme of ICASI 2018 was “Empowering Digital Society through Integration of Multidisciplinarity aspect”. The technical program of Joint Workshop KO2PI and ICASI 2018 consisted of 22 full papers, including 4 invited papers in oral presentation sessions at the main conference tracks. The conference tracks were: Track 1 – Computer Security; Track 2 – Big Data and Data Mining; Track 3 – Information Technology and Forecasting; and Track 4 – Social Media Analysis. We strongly believe that Joint Workshop and ICASI 2018 conference provides a good forum for all researcher, developers and practitioners to discuss all science and technology aspects that are relevant to Digital Society. We also expect that the future KO2PI Workshop and ICASI conference will be as successful and stimulating, as indicated by the contributions presented in this volume.
