Esta obra, a quarta que tenho oportunidade de concluir, apresenta, nos seus seis capítulos, os resultados encontrados em minha dissertação de Mestrado em Educação, frutos de projetos de intervenção realizados enquanto fui docente na disciplina de Educação Física na rede pública de educação do Estado de São Paulo. Com ela, espero contribuir para a minimização da ação indisciplinada no ambiente de aprendizagem da escola. O fenômeno social da indisciplina escolar deixou de ser um evento ocasional no dia a dia de educadores e de educandos do ensino público e privado nas escolas brasileiras, tornando-se um dos maiores obstáculos didático-pedagógicos, nos diferentes níveis de ensino, por interferir diretamente em todos os âmbitos da aprendizagem e da convivência no ambiente escolar, evidenciando tanto as dificuldades dos professores em ensinar quanto à dos alunos em aprender. A indisciplina se revela de diversas formas e, muitas vezes, inviabiliza o processo de escolarização da criança e do adolescente e torna impotentes educadores, orientadores e gestores escolares.
