The book's idea came from interactions with Mentees on the "Transcend with Dr. Edward Agbai" Mentorship program, a program designed for business start-ups to encourage and give them an entrepreneurial mindset. The program which holds every last Sunday of the month and is anchored using a video conference tool (zoom). Most of the Mentees are in various cities in Nigeria, from Lagos to Port Harcourt to Sapele, to Enugu, and Abuja. Others join the program from the UK and Canada. The sessions were designed to favor the Nigerian participants, and during these sessions, when you ask about their welfare, their answers are mostly not pleasant but with the hope of a better future. For the love of our country and its future, the passion for this book was birthed to ignite a spark in the heart of every reader that there are cries for change, which is very urgent. When we examine the dynamics of leadership in our country Nigeria, we are Bewildered by the reality that confronts a people with one of the most endowed God-given regions in the world. We cannot change the past, but we can rewrite history and create a better future in the present and for future generations.
