Challenges in the protection of migrant workers’ rights: the Italian case
Este artigo pretende contribuir para a interpretação das consequências psico-sociais do empreendedorismo na população imigrante feminina da Europa de Leste, dos PALOP e do Brasil, em Portugal. Discutem-se três questões principais: i) em que medida o empresarialismo migrante feminino traz ancorados benefícios não económicos; ii) quais as consequências nos patamares do “eu” profissional, do “eu” social e do “eu” familiar; e iii) se há diferenças nos efeitos do empreendedorismo nos grupos nacionais de empresárias. Destaque-se a análise das implicações do trabalho por conta própria em domínios como a autonomia das mulheres imigrantes, o processo de conciliação entre as esferas profissional e familiar e as relações de género no âmbito do espaço doméstico.
