He married (1) 1848 in San Francisco, Christiana Rachel Reed (1830-1893), the daughter of John Haynes Reed and Christiana Gregory. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. He married (2) 1856 in Salt Lake City Sally "Sarah" Clark (1831-1910), the daughter of Samuel Clark and Rebecca Garner. She was born in Clinton Co., Idaho. He married (3) 1856 in Salt Lake City Sarah Elizabeth Holmes (1838-1908), the daughter of Jonathan Harriman Holmes and Marietta Carter. She was born in Kirtland Geauga Co., Ohio. Sally Clark and Sarah Holmes were widows of Franklin Weaver's brother Miles Weaver. Franklin Weaver had twenty-three children

Margaret Evans Owens Wardrop
Margaret Evans Owens, daughter of William Owens and Eleanor Evans, was born in 1829 in Festiniog, Merionethshire, North Wales. She married Robert Campbell Wardrop in 1851, and they had eleven children. She died 1913 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Just Jane
Sarah Jane Godfrey, daughter of Joseph Godfrey and Sarah Ann Price, was born in North Ogden, Utah. She married William Perkins Evans in 1882. They had two children. Widowed at an early age, Sarah Jane married Henry John Holmes in 1893 and they had five children. She died in 1950 in Raymond, Alberta, Canada.

Letters of Donald Nilsson
Donald Nilsson was born in the Mormon settlements in Canada in 1908.
