ORGAN REPRODUKSI WANITA
Organ reproduksi wanita mencakup dua bagian, yaitu struktur eksternal dan struktur internal. Fungsi struktur reproduksi wanita eksternal (genital) adalah untuk melindungi organ genital internal dari organisme luar dan berguna agar sperma dapat masuk ke dalam tubuh. Cara kerja organ reproduksi wanita terbagi berdasarkan fungsi yang dijalankannya. Sistem reproduksi wanita memungkinkan seorang wanita untuk menghasilkan sel telur (ovum), melakukan hubungan seksual, melindung dan memelihara sel telur yang telah dibuahi hingga melahirkan. Saat pubertas, kelenjar hipofisis (di bagian tengah otak) mulai merangsang hormon pada ovarium untuk membuat hormon seks wanita, termasuk estrogen. Sekresi hormon ini menyebabkan seorang gadis berkembang menjadi wanita yang matang secara seksual.

Kompleksitas manusia merupakan gambaran bahwa manusia merupakan makhluk holistik yang terdiri dari unsur biologis, fisiologis, sosial dan spriritual. Setiap unsur saling mendukung, sehingga gangguan pada salah satu unsur, akan berdampak pada unsur yang lain. Unsur biologis, unsur ini memandang manusia sebagai susunan sistem organ tubuh yang saling beriteraksi untuk mempertahankan kehidupan, mulai lahir, tumbuh dan berkembang hingga mengalami Kematian Unsur psikologis, merepresentasikan manusia sebagai mahluk yang memiliki kepribadian, daya fikir, kecerdasan yang tergambar dalam tingkah laku Unsur sosial, memandang manusia sebagai mahluk sosial yang saling berinteraki dan bekerjasama, kemampuan bertingkah laku yang sesuai dengan norma dan harapan yang berlaku baik sebagai individu, kelompok maupun masyarakat. Unsur ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh Unsur spiritual, manusia mempunyai keyakinan, pandangan hidup, semangat hidup yang sejalan dengan keyakinan yang dianut.

Ganoderma Diseases of Perennial Crops
Annotation. Diseases caused by Ganoderma species cause major losses of palms and other perennial crops throughout the world, and these are particularly significant in Asia. Successive replanting of crop monocultures can be rapidly exploited by soil borne fungi such as Ganoderma, and the problem will become more serious in the 21st century, as more areas become due for second or even third replanting. Environmental considerations will reduce exploitation of new forest areas, making further replanting of these crops inevitable. Thus, appropriate, integrated management systems for these diseases are vital. However, the development of such control measures has been hampered in the past by a limited knowledge of the nature and inter-relationships of populations of different hosts and the mechanisms of disease establishment and spread.This book aims to address these limitations through enhanced knowledge of the biology and taxonomy of Ganoderma species. The use of molecular and biochemical methods can be used to provide a greater understanding of the spread of the pathogen, and consequently, the improved management of disease.
