Antologi Esai ini disusun oleh mahasiswa praktikan berdasarkan hasil kegiatan PLP I atas bimbingan dosen pembimbing lapangan. Kegiatan PLP I ini dirancang dalam dua capaian, yaitu (1) membangun Jati diri pendidik dengan mengenal kultur sekolah, struktur organisasi sekolah dan tata kelola sekolah, peraturan dan tata tertib sekolah, dan kegiatan-kegiatan di sekolah. (2) Membangun jati diri pendidik dengan mengetahui praktik proses pembelajaran dan karakteristik siswa. Berdasarkan kegiatan tersebutlah mahasiswa praktikan menyusun esai sebagai respon dan kemampuan memberikan pendapat terhadap dunia pendidikan. Antologi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi motivasi mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan kompetensi diri dalam berlatih melatih menulis karya tulis ilmiah sebagai calon seorang pendidik.

Gelaran Almanak Senirupa Jogja 1999-2009 ini bukan sekadar ”Almanak”, melainkan ”Almanak +” lantaran menggabungkan banyak sekali model: Ensiklopedia, Kamus, Kronik, Who’s Who, Katalog, maupun Yellow Pages (Nama | Alamat). Ini adalah semacam ”buku pintar” seni rupa yang bisa dipegang oleh seluruh komponen yang berkepentingan dengan dunia seni rupa, terutama di Yogyakarta selama sepuluh tahun terakhir. Sebuah kota yang secara statistik, memiliki puluhan ribu seniman dengan aktivitas seni yang kaya. Karena itu kota ini kerap disebut sebagai produsen seni yang paling fantastik di Asia atau ”Makkah”nya seni rupa Asia. Buku ini diikat oleh empat kategori besar: nama (seniman), peristiwa (kronik), ruang (tempat/kawasan), dan komunitas (organisasi). Dari keempat ikatan itu lalu diturunkan menjadi tema-tema spesifik yang dirujuk dari perkembangan-perkembangan termutakhir dunia seni rupa selama sepuluh tahun sebagaimana yang terpetakan dalam daftar isi buku ini.

The Proceedings of Batusangkar International Conference VI (BIC VI), that was organized by Graduate Program of IAIN Batusangkar, was held in hybrid platform on 11-12 October 2021 with the main theme " Strengthening Life Harmony in 4.0 Era". The BIC VI conference includes several interesting topics such as Science, Technology Literacy, Engineering, Law, Economy, Education, and Religion. The participants came from various universities and practitioners with a total of 140 papers that were published in a proceedings. It is expected that this proceedings will bring contribution and insight, resulting in new knowledge, inspirations, and collaborations. We are very grateful for their participation.
