Lodowik Farmer immigrated in 1740 from England to Virginia, and renounced his inherited title of "Lord Farmer." He died in 1783. Edward Messenger was born in 1617 in England. He and his brothers with their parents came to New England and settled in the colony of Connecticut. He married Dorcas? in 1650. Edward died 12 May 1688 in Bloomfield, Connecticut.
