Receiving the Lord's Healing is simple: you just need to open to Him, cleanse life's issues and ask for His healing This book outlines a Method of Healing Personal Hurt entitled "The Five Fold Cycle." It is simple and can be used to aid in the healing of memories, healing of emotions, healing of self-image, and healing of relationships. It is a method of fine-tuning healing prayer to better utilize the Lord's pruning and cleansing. Scripture describes the Lord's pruning & cleansing in this manner: "I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinegrower. He removes every branch in me that bears no fruit. Every branch that bears fruit he prunes to make it bear more fruit." (John 15: 1-2) Our task is to take each area of our life, (body, mind, soul & spirit), to the Lord, and bring it under His Light and Lordship (His rule). Each is a mini-conversion experience - dying to self, renewing the old. How simple are the wonders of the Lord's Healing in our life....

Renewal Worship

Theologian Steven Félix-Jäger offers a theology of renewal worship, including its biblical foundations, how its global nature is expressed in particular localities, and how charismatic worship shapes the community of faith. With this guidance, the whole church might better understand what it means to pray, "Come, Holy Spirit!"

Fivefold Apostle Church Building

Fivefold Church Fishing: If fivefold ministry were compared to fishing, their different strengths are used as a team. The apostle would acquire the boat, net, and team to catch and process the fish. The prophet would seek Holy Spirit direction, to know time, location, and fishing depth. The teacher would study to give knowledge of species and bait, to maximize catching, cleaning, and preserving the fish. The evangelist will go out regardless of time or weather. He will tirelessly cast his net to maximize gathering all he can, while encouraging believers to join him. The pastor would receive the catch, clean it, and care for the processed fish. All the elders would distribute this catch with wisdom and love, while ministering to the entire assembly. Well-fed believers will then minister both inside and outside of the church.

In Lewi Pethrus’ Ecclesiological Thought 1911-1974: A Transdenominational Pentecostal Ecclesiology, Tommy Davidsson presents a chronological survey of the ecclesiology of the Swedish Pentecostal pioneer, Lewi Pethrus (1884-1974). The presentation is the first study of its kind and it demonstrates by means of a historical analysis the underlying factors that contributed to the formation of ecclesiological beliefs among Pentecostals. The insights from the historical analysis are then applied to a global setting. By employing Roger Haight’s Transdenominational Ecclesiology, Davidsson proposes a methodology that serves as a helpful tool when assessing the unifying values that characterise highly diverse Pentecostal communities worldwide.

Fivefold Symmetry

Fivefold Symmetry

Fivefold symmetry is common in flowers, fruits, molecules, logos, and buildings, but it is a forbidden symmetry in the world of crystals. A few years ago, the so-called quasicrystals were discovered displaying fivefold symmetry, and it caused a minirevolution in crystallography. There has been increased awareness of fivefold symmetry in all domains of human interest ever since. The present book brings together authors and ideas on a common theme from mathematics, the sciences, design, and anthropology to history, literature, and the arts. Its 29 chapters are an offering by scientists and humanists from 13 countries to a broad readership of professionals and laypersons about fivefold symmetry and the areas that are being bridged by this unique concept.

Growing out of the need to articulate an eschatology that is consistent with the theological beliefs, spiritual experience, and hermeneutical insights of the Pentecostal movement, this volume applies an interdisciplinary approach to the subject, integrating historical, biblical, and theological studies. After providing a comprehensive review of the current state of Pentecostal eschatology, the study explores the periodical literature of the earliest years of the movement, understanding this period to be the heart or originating source of the tradition. Drawing upon insights gained from this exploration, the boundaries for discerning a contemporary Pentecostal eschatology are established and a constructive, biblical-theological contribution to this subject is offered, focused upon a fresh reading of Revelation 21–22 and framed around the narrative testimony of the fivefold gospel that emerges from the heart of the tradition.

A contribution to the field of theological aesthetics, this book explores the arts in and around the Pentecostal and charismatic renewal movements. It proposes a pneumatological model for creativity and the arts, and discusses different art forms from the perspective of that model. Pentecostals and other charismatic Christians have not sufficiently worked out matters of aesthetics, or teased out the great religious possibilities of engaging with the arts. With the flourishing of Pentecostal culture comes the potential for an equally flourishing artistic life. As this book demonstrates, renewal movements have participated in the arts but have not systematized their findings in ways that express their theological commitments—until now. The book examines how to approach art in ways that are communal, dialogical, and theologically cultivating.
