El acto administrativo es una herramienta fundamental en la función administrativa orientada al cumplimiento del interés general. En los últimos años, en Colombia se han observado varias tendencias importantes que han impactado su desarrollo y aplicación; cada una de ellas va desde la dimensión formal hasta la sustancial del acto administrativo. Un ejemplo de la primera es el acto administrativo electrónico, estudiado en la tipología de los actos administrativos, y como uno de los institutos de la administración pública electrónica. Un ejemplo de la segunda es el acto administrativo compatible con los postulados de la fórmula Estado social de derecho, uno garantista. Por lo anterior, la presente obra posee el desarrollo de algunas tendencias que merecen ser leídas y discutidas en la academia, así como en el litigio administrativo.

About Trees considers our relationship with language, landscape, perception, and memory in the Anthropocene. The book includes texts and artwork by a stellar line up of contributors including Jorge Luis Borges, Andrea Bowers, Ursula K. Le Guin, Ada Lovelace and dozens of others. Holten was artist in residence at Buro BDP. While working on the book she created an alphabet and used it to make a new typeface called Trees. She also made a series of limited edition offset prints based on her Tree Drawings.
