This book consists of three parts. The first four chapters in Part I cover the morphology of vegetative and reproductive organs and the physiology of fruits, trees, and vines. Chapter 5 addresses the reproductive processes, beginning with a juvenile seedling tree and ending with flowering and seed formation. Chapter 6 continues with postbloom development of the fruit, proceeding from fruit set to physical and chemical changes, maturity, harvesting techniques, and physiological disorders.
