Georg Wagner (ca. 1830-1912) was a descendant of German Mennonites who had immigrated much earlier to the Volga area of Russia. Georg married Katarina Simon, and immigrated in 1872 from Russia (via New York) to land near Lehigh, Kansas. Descendants and relatives lived in Kansas, Washington, Idaho and elsewhere.
