Madame Anna Guérin is the fascinating personality behind the title ‘The Poppy Lady’. William Amos (ca1690-1759) came from England to Maryland as a young man. He married Ann in January 1713 at Joppa Maryland. His children are Thomas (1713-1763), Elizabeth (1715-ca1759) and William (1718-1814).
