La sovranità in legame
Che cosa significa oggi pronunciare la parola "sovrano"? Concetto fondativo eppure oggi inaccessibile. Come scioglierne i nodi? Se la storia umana si dipana nella stratificazione dei significati che la sovranità ha assunto, il tentativo di comprenderla è una sfida per il pensiero. Gli autori di questo volume hanno voluto accogliere tale sfida senza pretendere di esaurirne la portata, e hanno cercato di mettere a fuoco i punti di resistenza e quelli di cedimento di una nozione tanto sfuggente quanto -in realtà - di attualità bruciante. L'esito, per nulla scontato, è la scoperta di una divisione, di una dis-giunzione che attraversa l'idea di sovranità come pure il sapere che prova a interrogarla. Sovranità è ciò che costituisce legami nella forma del controllo e del dominio, ma necessità essa stessa di annodarsi, di rimanere se stessa, di giustificarsi nella sua identità. Interrogare tale disgiunzione piuttosto che il lamento anti-nichilista - potrebbe forse aprire un varco nelle forme mediatiche e spettacolari in cui oggi si attua la sua espressione.
