This book presents a coherent and well-balanced collection of revised papers focusing on agent-mediated knowledge management. Most of the papers are extended and improved versions of work presented at the Symposium on Agent-Mediated Knowledge Management, AMKM 2003, held during the AAAI Spring Symposium in Stanford, CA, USA in March 2003; also included are 3 special articles, including a detailed introduction to the topic by the volume editors. This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Second International Conference on Trust Management, iTrust 2004, held in Oxford, UK, in March/April 2004. The 21 revised full papers and 6 revised short papers presented together with 3 invited contributions were carefully reviewed and selected from 48 submissions. Advanced Information Systems Engineering Workshops
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of eight international workshops held in Valencia, Spain, in conjunction with the 25th International Conference on Advanced Information Systems Engineering, CAiSE 2013, in June 2013. Research Challenges in Information Science
This book constitutes the proceedings of the 14th International Conference on Research Challenges in Information Sciences, RCIS 2020, held in Limassol, Cyprus, during September 23-25, 2020. The conference was originally scheduled for May 2020, but the organizing committee was forced to postpone the conference due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Practice of Enterprise Modeling
This book constitutes the proceedings of the 15th IFIP Working Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modeling, PoEM 2022, which took place in London, UK, during November 23-25, 2022. PoEM offers a forum for sharing experiences and knowledge between the academic community and practitioners from industry and the public sector. The 23 full and 17 short papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 148 abstracts and 126 full papers submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on modeling and reasoning, fundamentals of conceptual modeling, business process modeling, network modeling, data semantics, security and optimization, ontology-based modeling, searching and mining, conceptual modeling and applications, demonstration papers.
Enterprise, Business-Process and Information Systems Modeling
This book contains the proceedings of two long-standing workshops: The 10th International Workshop on Business Process Modeling, Development and Support, BPMDS 2009, and the 14th International Conference on Exploring Modeling Methods for Systems Analysis and Design, EMMSAD 2009, held in connection with CAiSE 2009 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in June 2009. The 17 papers accepted for BPMDS 2009 were carefully reviewed and selected from 32 submissions. The topics addressed by the BPMDS workshop are business and goal-related drivers; model-driven process change; technological drivers and IT services; technological drivers and process mining; and compliance and awareness. Following an extensive review process, 16 papers out of 36 submissions were accepted for EMMSAD 2009. These papers cover the following topics: use of ontologies; UML and MDA; ORM and rule-oriented modeling; goal-oriented modeling; alignment and understandability; enterprise modeling; and patterns and anti-patterns in enterprise modeling.
