Reclaiming Konia

On the threshold of the 20th Century, Melkon Jenanyan sits alone in a room in the heart of Philadelphia. An intense and stubborn Christian Minister, and the one who must secure their family legacy, he has to make a decision. Will he further complicate his strained marriage by returning to the heart of the Ottoman Empire - as a targeted Christian minority in a Muslim land? The crux of his life's meaning hangs in the balance as he struggles to choose between family or his life's work, peace or a potential war zone. Will he find salvation as a martyr to save his people, or will he choose to save himself?

The Reacher Guy

An exquisitely written and nuanced biography of an exceptional individual and writer who has created the # 1 international bestselling hero Jack Reacher, revered by dedicated and loyal readers worldwide. Lee Child has a great public persona: he is gracious and generous with readers and fans. But Jim Grant is a reticent and very private man. This rags-to-riches literary and social biography is based principally on disarmingly frank personal conversations and correspondence with the author since 2016 and privileged access to archival materials. It consists almost entirely of original material, and is the nearest thing the world is likely to get to the autobiography he does not intend to write....

Lutherjahrbuch 90. Jahrgang 2023: Word and World - Wort und Welt: Luther Across Borders
