Feminismo y misoginia en la literatura española
Las obras literarias contienen informaciones muy útiles acerca de la mentalidad dominante en la época en que fueron escritas, por lo que pueden considerarse fuentes para la Historia. En este libro se analizan obras de autoras y autores tan significativos como Fernando de Rojas, Fray Luis de León, Lope de Vega, Nicolás Fernández de Moratín, Emilia Pardo Bazán, Josefina Aldecoa, Mercè Rodoreda, Rosa Chacel, María Zambrano y Montserrat Roig. En ellas se descubren espacios, objetos y funciones asignadas a las mujeres, así como, también, su mundo de relaciones, su comportamiento y discurso, a través de un pensamiento propio y libre o si se adecuan al patriarcal dominante. El marco del análisis es la crítica feminista, realizada desde el ámbito literario, histórico y filosófico, lo que da a la obra un carácter interdisciplinar; buscado y querido.

Laura Lojo is Associate Professor of English literature and language at the University of Santiago de Compostela and has a Ph.D. in VirginiaWoolf's writing. Lojo is the author of Introduction to Virginia Woolf's Short Fiction (2003), and is co-editor of Writing Bonds: Irish and Galician Contemporary Women Poets (2009). She has also published book chapters and articles in literary journals on various topics, such as the reception of British modernism in Spanish-speaking countries, Irish women's poetry, women's studies, and comparative literature. --

A Comparative History of Literatures in the Iberian Peninsula
Volume 2 of A Comparative History of Literatures in the Iberian Peninsula brings to an end this collective work that aims at surveying the network of interliterary relations in the Iberian Peninsula. No attempt at such a comparative history of literatures in the Iberian Peninsula has been made until now. In this volume, the focus is placed on images (Section 1), genres (Section 2), forms of mediation (Section 3), and cultural studies and literary repertoires (Section 4). To these four sections an epilogue is added, in which specialists in literatures in the Iberian Peninsula, as well as in the (sub)disciplines of comparative history and comparative literary history, search for links between Volumes 1 and 2 from the point of view of general contributions to the field of Iberian comparative studies, and assess the entire project that now reaches completion with contributions from almost one hundred scholars.
