Henry Morris (1889-1961), the great educational philosopher, and initiator of the integrated community educational centre - embodied in the Cambridgeshire village college system - was county education officer and had his first 'memorandum' on the concept of community education printed by the Cambridge University Press. 1984 is both the 60th anniversary of his first memorandum and the 400th anniversary of the Press and this commemorative book will be published to coincide with a number of events to celebrate that. The book is a collection of his papers, mainly about community education, edited by Professor Harry Rée, who is closely associated with the Community Education Development Centre in Coventry.

The Remarkable Wisdom of Solomon

After the birth of the Jewish nation, but before the brutal string of invading Pagan armies, there arose an Israel a king whose splendor was so rich, his very name is still spoken with awe: Solomon. Inheriting and expanding a magnificent kingdom from his father, King David, Solomon, attained both spiritual and material wealth, confounding his enemies and thrilling his own people. The Bible claims there will never be another like him. His legacy includes three canonical works that flowed from God to his pen - Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon. Strangely, these three books are rarely examined by modern scholars, but longtime author and defender of the faith, the late Henry Morris, provided an invaluable commentary. His examination of Solomon's life, and the insights into the writings themselves, give the Bible student a worthy tour through the life of a most remarkable man. 240 pages • 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 • Trade paper

The Long War Against God

Darwin Challenged God's Word With Evolution...But Was He The Only One? Discover the old, ongoing war against biblical truth Dissect the origins of and arguments for atheistic thought Determine what you can do to defend your faith The denial of God is the root of every human problem, taking many forms over time — one of which is evolution. And this concept goes much farther back in time than we think. In The Long War Against God, the late Dr. Henry Morris, a renowned creationist, delves into the history of modern atheistic worldviews. Drawing from the writings of the Greeks, Babylonians, and other ancient philosophers, Morris demonstrates the long history and age of the plan to undermine God’s Word. Whether it’s evolutionism, humanism, pantheism, or atheism, Morris illuminates the past and present of these belief systems that seek to eliminate God. The Long War Against God will give you the tools you need to strengthen your own — and others’ — faith in the battle for God’s truth.
