The Korean Pentecost and the Sufferings which Followed
In 1977 the Trust published this remarkable account of the first 60 years or so of the modern church in Korea (mainly North Korea). William Blair (1876- 1970), in his first term of missionary service, was at the centre of the great revival of 1907, and his account of this and the events leading up to it forms the first part of the book. Blair includes a thrilling description of how the gospel first came to Korea. The account is then taken up by his son-in-law, Bruce Hunt (1903- 92) born in Pyengyang, now the capital of North Korea who shows how the revival was followed by a baptism of suffering under the Japanese and Communists. During his forty-eight years of missionary service in Korea, Hunt personally knew many of the Korean Christian martyrs. This new edition of The Korean Pentecost has been completely re-typeset, and includes twelve additional illustrations.

Korean Diaspora and Christian Mission
As a 'divine conspiracy' for Missio Dei, the global phenomenon of people on the move has shown itself to be invaluable. In 2004 two significant documents concerning Diaspora were introduced, one by the Filipino International Network and the other by the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization. These have created awareness of the importance of people on the move for Christian mission. Since then, Korean Diaspora has conducted similar research among Korean missions, resulting in this book. It is unique as the first volume researching Korean missions in Diasporic contexts, appraising and evaluating these missions with practical illustrations, and drawing on a wide diversity of researchers.

Millennialism in the Korean Protestant Church
This book explains the origin and development of premillennial eschatology in the evangelical Korean church from 1884 to 1945. It examines the eschatological implications of Korean religious thought, the eschatology of American missionaries, the horrific experience of Japanese occupation (1910-1945), and the enforcement of Shinto shrine worship in light of Korean Christians' tenacious hold on dispensational premillennialism. This book explains the place of premillennialism in the Christian life, and it deals with the cultural underpinnings of Christianity in Korean history by bringing to bear the complex social, political, and religious elements of Korean culture.
