Orientación Educativa. Atención a la diversidad y educación inclusiva
Se analizan las dificultades de aprendizaje en dos de las competencias básicas de mayor relevancia instrumental: la lectura y la escritura, y las matemáticas; se aborda la respuesta al alumnado en desventaja cultural; se revisa el concepto de necesidades educativas especiales y la forma en la que se viene dando respuesta a este colectivo. Por su especial importancia en el momento actual, se han incluido capítulos específicos que refieren a los problemas de comportamiento y al alumnado con problemas de salud mental. Finalmente, se presenta una reflexión acerca de los alumnos denominados con altas capacidades. En todos los capítulos se aborda el papel del orientador en el ámbito de intervención específico que en cada caso se trata.
La interacción entre función y modalidad del lenguaje
Esta tesis trata de diseñar ayudas para facilitar aprendizajes que reclamanesfuerzo y de diseñarlas de la mejor forma posible. El objeto específico de la tesis es explorar cómo deben presentarse ciertas ayudas insertas en ciertos materiales instructivos.Los materiales instructivos son aquellos que tienen por objeto enseñar losconocimientos necesarios para que los aprendices desempeñen su papel en la sociedad. Este trabajo trata un tipo particular de material: los Computer- Based Learning Environments. Por CBLE se entiende aquel material instructivo con soporte digital que presenta información verbal (textos, narraciones) y pictórica (imágenes, animaciones) y que emplea distintas modalidades (auditiva/visual) para ello. Resulta que aprender a partir de un CBLE no siempre es tarea fácil.
Tendencias emergentes en evaluación formativa y compartida en docencia
Los contextos educativos del siglo XXI requieren de un replanteamiento metodológico para ajustarse a las nuevas demandas y necesidades sociales. Literacy Beyond Text Comprehension
Literacy Beyond Text Comprehension aims to systematically investigate how readers interpret reading tasks within a situation, and how that interpretation influences reading behavior and comprehension. Presenting a new model of REading as problem SOLVing (RESOLV), the authors describe reading comprehension in terms of how a reader adopts goals within a particular situation that then guide what is read, when, and how. By applying the RESOLV model to a range of reading situations, this book provides evidence to suggest that there is no unitary understanding of a task, because individuals bring their own goals and characteristics to the situation; as such, it demonstrates the importance of understanding how a reader (e.g., student, test-taker, employee completing a work task) represents the context and the specific assignment. Written by internationally recognized learning sciences scholars, Literacy Beyond Text Comprehension advances the state of the art in reading research, but also seeks to inform a broader range of audiences, including those interested in the teaching and the assessment of reading.
