All Praises belong to Allah Lord of The Worlds. We Ask Allah for His Mercy and Forgiveness and We ask Him to send His Peace and Blessings on the final last Messenger.Imam Al-Bukhari began his collection of Sahih Hadith with the chapter of Revelation since this is where Islam began. Allah sent Muhammad as the seal of the Messengers and gave him legislation. It's through Revelation that Allah guides people from darkness to light. Following this Imam Al-Bukhari mentioned the book of Iman(faith); as it is the foundation and the principle that actions are built on. There's no action without intention and no actions without faith. The greatest part of Revelation is belief in Allah and His Messenge...

Sahih Bukhari

Sahih Bukhari is a collection of sayings and deeds of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), also known as the Sunnah. The reports of the Prophet's (saw) sayings and deeds are called ahadeeth. Imam Bukhari lived a couple of centuries after the Prophet's (saw) death and worked extremely hard to collect his ahadeeth. Each report in his collection was checked for compatibility with the Qur'an, and the veracity of the chain of reporters had to be painstakingly established. Bukhari's collection is recognized by the overwhelming majority of the Muslim world to be one of the most authentic collections of the Sunnah of the Prophet(pbuh).

An introduction to Sahih al-Bukhari

Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī is unsurprisingly the most widely recognized book among Muslims after the Qurʾān. Curious readers of Bukhārī’s magnum opus are often left with burning questions that lie beyond its contents. Who was Imām Bukhārī? How and why did he write the Ṣaḥīḥ? How was it transmitted? Are there any reliable extant manuscripts of the work? In this introduction, Dr. Muṣṭafā al-Aʿẓamī answers these questions in a simple and accessible manner. This translation, alongside added annotations and appendices, presents and expands on al-Aʿẓamī’s research for an English readership, for whom there is a dearth of resources on the subject.

The Biography of Imam Al-Bukhari

The narrative in your hands is about a remarkable Muslim scholar of Hadith from the world of learning – Imam Muhammad ibn Isma'eel al-Bukhari – who was undoubtedly the most eminent scholar of Ahadith that the world has seen. It was said of him that when he glanced through a book, he would remember it by heart. He had not only memorized thousands of Ahadith by heart, but he was also an expert in the Science of Ahadith. His book, which is commonly known as Sahih al-Bukhari, is highly regarded among Muslims, and considered the most authentic collection of Ahadith, even ahead of the Muwatta' of Imam Malik and Sahih Muslim by Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj, who also happened to be one of his students. ...

Birr al-Walidayn

Birr al-Wālidayn is a short treatise on the subject of being dutiful to parents which was published recently for the first time. This treatise is significant because Imam Bukhārī appears to be the first person to pen a treatise specifically on this subject. It comprises 75 hadiths which are transmitted under various chapter headings focusing on two broad themes: being dutiful to parents and maintaining family ties. This English translation is accompanied by succinct and insightful commentary from Mufti Yusuf Shabbir, in addition to appendices featuring the narrations transmitted by Imam Bukhārī on the same topic in his Ṣaḥīḥ and Al-Adab al-Mufrad, chains of transmission and biographies of the narrators.
