Process Measurement in Business Process Management
Process measurement deals with the quantification of business process models using process model metrics. This book presents a theoretical framework for the prediction of external process model attributes (as, for example, error-proneness and understandabiltiy) based on internal (structural) attributes. The properties of proposed metrics are analyzed. A visualization technique for metric values is introduced and metrics for process model understandability and granularity are evaluated.
Business Process Management
This volume contains the proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM 2005), organized by LORIA in Nancy, France, September 5–8, 2005. This year, BPM included several innovations with respect to previous e- tions, most notably the addition of an industrial program and of co-located workshops. Data-Driven Process Discovery and Analysis
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the Second International Symposium on Data-Driven Process Discovery and Analysis held in Campione d'Italia, Italy, in June 2012. The six revised full papers were carefully selected from 17 submissions. To improve the quality of the contributions the symposium fostered the discussion during the presentation, giving authors the opportunity to improve their work extending the presented results. The selected papers cover topics spanning from theoretical issues related to process representation, discovery and analysis to practical and operational experiences in process discovery and analysis.

The 11 revised full papers were carefully selected from 31 submissions. In addition to the thorough review process, the lively discussions at the event itself also helped the authors to improve their papers and to foster interesting extensions. The selected papers cover a wide range of topics spanning from theoretical issues related to process representation to practical experience in process discovery and analysis.
Enterprise, Business-Process and Information Systems Modeling
This book contains the refereed proceedings of two long-running events held along with the CAiSE conference relating to the areas of enterprise, business-process and information systems modeling: * the 23rd International Conference on Business Process Modeling, Development and Support, BPMDS 2022, and * the 27th International Conference on Exploring Modeling Methods for Systems Analysis and Development, EMMSAD 2022. The conferences were taking place in Leuven, Belgium during June 6-7, 2022. For BPMDS 7 full papers and 2 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected for publication from a total of 18 submissions; for EMMSAD 11 full papers and 3 short papers were accepted from 30 submissions after thorough reviews. The papers were organized in topical sections as follows: BPMDS: Actual and perceived challenges; business process modeling; understanding collaboration: one issue, many perspectives; and event logs – why it derivates; EMMSAD: Foundations of modeling and method engineering; enterprise, business process, and capability modeling; information systems and requirements modeling; domain-specific and knowledge modeling; and evaluation of modeling approaches.
Cooperative Information Systems
This volume LNCS 13591 constitutes the proceedings of the International Conference on Cooperative Information Systems, CoopIS 2022, collocated with the Enterprise Design, Operations and Computing conference, EDOC 2022, in October 2022 in Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. The 15 regular papers presented together with 5 research in progress papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 68 submissions. The conference focuses on technical, economical, and societal aspects of distributed information systems at scale.
