John Stoner was probably born in Germany and had immigrated to Pennsylvania by 1728. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, West Virginia, Michigan, California, and elsewhere.
Johann Georg Wien/Wine, his wife, Marguretta, and two sons, emigrated from the River Rhine, near Heidelberg, Germany, in 1752, and settled in Hanover Township, York County, Pennsylvania. Their son, Michael Wine (1747-1822), migrated to Frederick County, Maryland, where he married Susannah Miller (1754-1848) They had twelve children, 1774-1797. The family migrated to Shenandoah County, Virginia, in 1782. He is buried at the Beaver Run Church Cemetery, Burlington, West Virginia; she is buried at the Flat Rock Church Cemetery, Shenandoah County, Virginia. Descendants listed lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Alabama, and elswhere.

John Heisham Jr. and Hannah Heishman came from Germany and located in the Trout Run Valley, Hardy County, West Virginia before 1816. Descendants lived in West Virginia, Virginia, and elsewhere. Also includes descendants of Jacob Heishman who married Christena Sager of Hardy County, West Virginia (possibly related to John) and John and Mary Heishman who settled in West Virginia before 1790.
