Not long after the year 1000 A.D. a minor change in the history of the world occurs. By the year 1976, the world is drastically different from our own timeline, especially North America (or should we say Vinlandia?), now securely under the rule of various nations of the original indigenous population. This alternate world, just as real as the world of Tom-a student pilot from Virginia Beach-is unknown to him but exists right under his nose on the same earth on which he treads. Unknown, that is, until he steps through the stone archway...
