This large collection spans virtually the whole of Kerfoot's ecclesiastical career and includes references to almost every issue and important event in the Episcopal Church during the period. The collection includes official papers, documents, reports, circulars, copies of sermons and addresses, but consists chiefly of voluminous and intimate correspondence with Kerfoot's mentor, collaborator and close friend, Bishop William Rollinson Whittingham.
