Thomas Saxbe/Saxby (1810-1860) emigrated from Stowe, Buckinghamshire, England in 1823. He married Lucy Bowen in 1834 in Ontario, County, New York and in 1830, they moved to Ohio. Descendants of their five children remained in the Midwest. After Thomas's death, Lucy married Warren Freeman.
