Spätestens seit dem Erscheinen von Dietrich Busses und Wolfgang Teuberts Aufsatz „Ist Diskurs ein sprachwissenschaftliches Objekt?“ (1994) hat die Linguistische Diskursanalyse (manchmal mit dem Zusatz versehen „nach Foucault“) ein vielfältiges Echo in und außerhalb der Sprachwissenschaft gefunden.
