"William Jackson was born in Reading, Berks Co., Pennsylvania on May 30th 1780. He was the son of Samuel and Mary (Scarlett) Jackson of Reading. ... On December 15th 1808 he was married to Rachel Tomlinson ... Rachael Tomlinson was a daughter of James and Sarah (Yarnall) Tomlinson, of Bloom Township, Northumberland Co., Pa. She was born on July 15th, 1791"--Page 1-2. They lived in Berwick, Pennsylvania and eventually settled in Bloom Township, Scioto County, Ohio. "On April 20th 1866, Rachel Tomlinson Jackson died ... and was buried in the Methodist Cemetery at South Webster, O. ... William Jackson died February 26th 1874 and was buried beside his faithful wife in South Webster Methodist Cemetery."--Page 4.
