Improving Processes for Health Care Delivery
This work prepares current and future managers and consultants focused on health care delivery systems to improve the efficiency of processes that deliver care. This material will help you manage capacity, improve patient flow, estimate process costs, and conduct experiments that lead to process improvement. Essential tools covered include process mapping and measurement, data collection and analysis, and the use of discrete event simulation as a tool for virtual experimentation and improvement. Tools are introduced with no assumption of prior training. African Indigenous Religious Traditions in Local and Global Contexts
This volume honours one of the great scholars of our era, Professor Jacob Olupona. Although he has conducted significant portions of his career outside of Nigeria, he has not separated himself from his colleagues or from interests in religions in Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa. Reforming Nigeria Prisoners
The purpose of this book is to address the issue of reforming convicts in Nigeria prison so that one day when they finish their sentence; they can become productive member of the community. Some couple of years ago, I was convicted of a crime outside the shore of Nigeria and I was sentence but during that time; I reflected on my life and promised myself that I will contribute to the rehabitation of inmate in Nigeria. It is an honour to be able to go into the prison and speak to convicted inmates about changing their lives around so that they could become productive members of the community when they finish their sentence and this is what I do through my NGO.
