My life as a lad growing up in tough times between the Great War and the Great Depression on the Lower Macleay River on the NSW mid North Coast; at university striving for professional qualifications; as a soldier in WW2; the joys and tribulations of raising a family in post war austerity and as a career teacher and educator. But the "common thread" throughout my life was my love of Australian flora, a passion I pursued for 70 years.

Obtaining the Anointing
According to the Holy Bible, when Samuel anointed David the Spirit came upon him that day, and there it remained. There was a time when God Himself filled His horn with oil and poured it out upon a hundred and twenty souls in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost. That anointing still remains upon God's people today. A big part of having the anointing is understanding the purpose of having it in your life. It takes time. The Scriptures say that "one sows and one waters, but it is God who gives the increase" (1 Corinthians 3:6). As we grow in our relationship with God, we grow in the anointing. God will never anoint that which He will not use. If God has anointed you, you can be sure it is for the purpose of using you. This book is a word in season that God wants you to know. It is a message to His people for this hour. God wants to activate His anointing in you to pour out onto those around you. In the Spirit, you become God's hands and feet. It is for today. It is for you!
