Mobile Networks and Management
This book constitutes the post-proceedings of the 5th International ICST Conference on Mobile Networks and Management, MONAMI 2013, held in Cork, Ireland, in September 2013. The 18 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions. The volume is organized thematically in five parts, covering: TCP, multi-path and coding and content-centric networking; mobile networks; wireless sensor and vehicular networks; wireless communications and traffic; future research directions, including cloud connectivity, orchestration and SDN.
Mobile Networks and Management
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the fourth International Conference on Mobile Networks and Management, MONAMI 2012, held in Hamburg, Germany, in September 2012. The 15 revised full papers presented were carefully selected and reviewed from numerous submissions. In addition two well-received workshops are presented: the second MONAMI Workshop on Smart Objects and the first Open Connectivity Services Workshop, organized in cooperation with the EU FP7 SAIL project. All in all, 25 papers were orally presented at the conference. The papers are organized in five topical sections: mobile networks, heterogeneous networks, wireless communications, smart objects and IoT applications, and future networks.
Mobile Networks and Management
This book constitutes the post-proceedings of the 6th International ICST Conference on Mobile Networks and Management, MONAMI 2014, held in Würzburg, Germany, in September 2014. The 22 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 30 submissions. In addition, MONAMI 2014 hosted a workshop on enhanced living environments which also featured 10 papers. The volume is organized thematically in six parts, covering: LTE networks, virtualization and software defined networking, self-organizing networks, energy awareness in wireless networks, wireless networks algorithms and techniques and applications and context-awareness. The workshop on enhanced living environments is organized in thematic sessions on ambient assisted living architectures, human interaction technologies, devises and mobile cloud.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Second IFIP-TC6 Netw- king Conference, Networking 2002. Networking 2002 was sponsored bythe IFIP Working Groups 6.2, 6.3, and 6.8. For this reason the conference was structured into three tracks: i) Networking Technologies, Services, and Protocols, ii) Perf- mance of Computer and Communication Networks, and iii) Mobile and Wireless Communications. The papers cover a wide range of topics addressing the main research efforts in the fields of network coding, sustainable networking, security in wireless cooperative networks, and performance evaluation of cognitive radio networks.
Future Multimedia Networking
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the Future Multimedia Networking Workshop, FMN 2009, held in Coimbra, Portugal, in June 2009. This year`s workshop focuses on various aspects of multimedia systems, content networking, and autonomous communication. The 16 revised papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 64 submissions. Further this year a demonstration session on Future Multimedia Networks was held from which 12 papers were accepted. The papers are organized in topical sections on streaming and voice services in future multimedia networks; wireless & ad hoc networks in autonomic content networking ; group and multiparty services in autonomic content networking, as well as quality in video and internet services.
Mobile Lightweight Wireless Systems
Following the success of the First MOBILIGHT 2009 in Athens, Greece, the Second International Conference on Mobile Lightweight Systems (MOBILIGHT) was held in Barcelona, Spain on May 10-12, 2010. It was not an easy decision to carry on organizing a scientific event on wireless communications, where competition is really enormous.
