Akord-akord pada Buku Kidung Keesaan Edisi Akord ini disusun berdasarkan harmoni/susunan suara dari Kidung Keesaan Empat Suara, sehingga dapat digunakan pula untuk mengiringi Paduan Suara yang menyanyikan lagu-lagu Kidung Keesaan dengan aransemen sesuai Kidung Keesaan Empat Suara. Perlu diakui bahwa untuk menggunakan akord-akord yang disiapkan dalam buku ini, pengiring membutuhkan keterampilan yang cukup (menengah ke atas), karena tidak mudah untuk memainkannya. Namun dengan latihan-latihan yang cukup, kami yakin para pengiring nyanyian ibadah dapat memainkannya dengan baik. Bagi pemusik pemula, kami sarankan untuk menyederhanakan sendiri akord yang ada. Salah satu bentuk penyederhanaan akord adalah: memainkan akord yang ada pada ketukan pertama saja, namun perlahan dapat dilatih memainkan akord di ketukan ke-3 (untuk lagu berbirama 4/4) dan seterusnya, hingga pada akhirnya pemusik pemula pun dapat memainkan seluruh akord yang tertulis. Buku ini merupakan tantangan bagi pemusik pemula agar semakin meningkatkan keterampilannya.
