Kung Fu is the culmination of thousands of years of traditional Chinese culture. There are many schools of Chinese Kung Fu, famous ones including Shaolin, Wudang, Tai Chi, Hsing-I and Eight Diagrams. Over thousands of years of continuous development and evolution, Kung Fu has developed into the ultimate form of practical martial arts combat, namely, freestyle grappling. Though the techniques are constantly changing, the mentality of Chinese Kung Fu to support justice and defend the nation has remained unchanged. As we can see in the history of Chinese Kung Fu, there's a prominent theme of “patriotism” between the lines. This is the supreme core enabling Chinese Kung Fu to continue and flourish.

An Ancient Treatment of Cancer in Buddhism Appreciated by Patients across Cultures and Years-The Arsaprasamanasutra is a Buddhist sutra, as well as a spell being exercised to cure hemorrhoid, ulcer, swelling, neoplasm, tumor, and cancer. This book aims to find out whether the Buddha has ever taught a spell for healing cancer, what kind of cancer can be restored to health with the spell, and how the spell may assist today's cancer patients. Therefore, in order to answer these questions, the Arsaprasamanasutra is critically assessed from its story, scripture, spell, ritual, and contemporary legend. For the first time ever, the Arsaprasamanasutra's original Sanskrit mantras and ritual details are also reconstructed in a methodical way.

It includes the names of approximately 3,500 traditional-style artists along with lists of their works, reproduced in some 264 monographs, books, journals, and catalogs published from the 1920s to around 1980. With a few exceptions, artists working after 1949 outside continental China are excluded. Revised Edition, 1998; first published by the Asian Studies Program, University of Oregon, 1984.
