Advances in Multimedia Modeling
This two-volume proceedings constitutes the refereed papers of the 17th International Multimedia Modeling Conference, MMM 2011, held in Taipei, Taiwan, in January 2011. The 51 revised regular papers, 25 special session papers, 21 poster session papers, and 3 demo session papers, were carefully reviewed and selected from 450 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on audio, image video processing, coding and compression; media content browsing and retrieval; multi-camera, multi-view, and 3D systems; multimedia indexing and mining; multimedia content analysis; multimedia signal processing and communications; and multimedia applications. The special session papers deal with content analysis for human-centered multimedia applications; large scale rich media data management; multimedia understanding for consumer electronics; image object recognition and compression; and interactive image and video search.

The two volume set LNCS 4351 and LNCS 4352 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 13th International Multimedia Modeling Conference, MMM 2007, held in Singapore in January 2007. Based on rigorous reviewing, the program committee selected 123 carefully revised full papers of the main technical sessions and 33 revised full papers of four special sessions from a total of 392 submissions for presentation in two volumes.
Computer Vision
The four-volume set LNCS 6492-6495 constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the 10th Asian Conference on Computer Vision, ACCV 2009, held in Queenstown, New Zealand in November 2010. All together the four volumes present 206 revised papers selected from a total of 739 Submissions. All current issues in computer vision are addressed ranging from algorithms that attempt to automatically understand the content of images, optical methods coupled with computational techniques that enhance and improve images, and capturing and analyzing the world's geometry while preparing the higher level image and shape understanding. Novel gemometry techniques, statistical learning methods, and modern algebraic procedures are dealt with as well.
MultiMedia Modeling
The two-volume set LNCS 9516 and 9517 constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the 22nd International Conference on Multimedia Modeling, MMM 2016, held in Miami, FL, USA, in January 2016. The 32 revised full papers and 52 poster papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 117 submissions. In addition 20 papers were accepted for five special sessions out of 38 submissions as well as 7 demonstrations (from 11 submissions) and 9 video showcase papers. The papers are organized in topical sections on video content analysis, social media analysis, object recognition and system, multimedia retrieval and ranking, multimedia representation, machine learning in multimedia, and interaction and mobile. MultiMedia Modeling
The two-volume set LNCS 8935 and 8936 constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the 21st International Conference on Multimedia Modeling, MMM 2015, held in Sydney, Australia, in January 2015. The 49 revised regular papers, 24 poster presentations, were carefully reviewed and selected from 189 submissions. For the three special session, a total of 18 papers were accepted for MMM 2015. The three special sessions are Personal (Big) Data Modeling for Information Access and Retrieval, Social Geo-Media Analytics and Retrieval and Image or video processing, semantic analysis and understanding.
