Un-Mapping the Global South
This book offers new approaches and insights into the ongoing and topical discussions on the concepts and definitions of the global south. Instead of adding to the debates about how to properly define the "global south" as such, it aims at emphasising concrete experiences and accounts of (post-)colonial dislocation and disidentification as both a starting point and linchpin for the subsequent exploration. It brings into conversation theories and interrogations of the "global south" with specific local studies, without presenting them as the romanticised "other" or as "non-western" narratives. As a bold initiation of future conversations on issues that both directly and indirectly affect ideas about the global south, the volume will be of great interest to scholars and researchers of critical theory, literary and cultural studies, and global south studies.

Os escritos chamados apócrifos foram aqueles destituídos de autoridade canônica. Aqueles que ficaram de fora, à margem do discurso oficial, religioso. Em ensaios apócrifos Ana Gianesi e Conrado Ramos apresentam reflexões a partir do diálogo livre com textos de autorxs de diferentes tradições e militâncias, quais sejam: feminismos, antirracismo, estudos queer, teoria crítica, povos originários e estudos descoloniais. O caminho é fragmentário e constelar porque corresponde ao percurso aberto de aprendizagem dos autores que, como psicanalistas lacanianos, perceberam a necessidade de frequentar territórios muitas vezes considerados avessos nos corredores institucionais. De maneira pouco habitual eles tentam olhar para a psicanálise com as ferramentas que encontram em seus novos atravessamentos teóricos ao invés de olhar para as teorias em questão com as ferramentas da psicanálise. Resulta disso a crítica à psicanálise e ao mesmo tempo a construção de novas possibilidades clínicas que, defendem os autores, seguem sendo psicanalíticas, porém, sem os ranços conservadores com os quais a vestem os ainda salvacionistas do pai.
