Lucía De García, a Peaceful Light
Laureate poet and writer, social innovator, Lucia lectures across the world on creating Peace with other cultures, traditions and spiritual beliefs. It is our attitude toward tolerance, compassion, and celebrating the differences existing among us, that will remove the boundaries that exist in todays world. Among her awards are: The World Academy of Arts and Culture/UNESCO (WAAC) Presidents Gold Medals for Literary Excellence, India 2007 and Taiwan 2010, and the Silver Rose for her poem Bridge to the Heavens Realm, Mexico 2008; she was inducted to the Womens Hall of Fame in the sacred island of Delos and received the EAWC's Goddess Artemis Women Achievement Award for bridging Nations and cultures, Greece 2008. In 2011 she was designated Universal Ambassadress by Le Cercle Universel des Ambassadeurs de la Paix, Switzerland and France. Born in Colombia, South America, Luca is multilingual, multicultural and appears on national and international media. The idea for this book began to form in my mind when, in a rather rare moment of solitude, I stood on a high bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean contemplating a lovely Southern California sunset.
